Culture

                      The culture in Argentina is mainly that of a European influence.  Which makes it quite unique.  In its nearly 41 million population almost 97% are a white mix of spanish and itallian.  Most people say the language sounds  as though it were a hybrid with Spanish and Itallian. 

Family is the #1 to Argentinian families.  Soccer is a close 2nd.   Family sticks together and not just immediate family, but all family.  And if you are the head of a very well to do family such as my father it means much more responsibility.  You are the one to look after the whole clan.  Its reassuring to me that I always have strong family support.   I one day will be the new leader of my family and I look forward to it one day and the respect that comes with it. 

Football or Soccer is the #1 Sport and to some in Argentina it is more important than anything.   When a big National game is going on the whole country literally shuts down. 

Above is a picture of the Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires.  Music in Argentina is loud and lively and a mix between native and folk stylings.   Tango is not an old dance here but "the dance".  Its still popular by todays standards and  now Argentine rock is starting to blend with Tango styles to create some quite interesting sounds.  Cinema also has roots dating back to the early 1900's and still has great influence on Argentina culture.
